The buzz across the bloggersphere is over the new ad campaign for Wrangler SS2010. I’m definitely sold, as I’m sure plenty of men and women are, that Wranglers are both rugged and sexy thanks to Tony Ward.
Wrangler Jeans were first made by Blue Bell in the mid-1940s. Bernard Lichtenstein, a.k.a. Rodeo Ben, a Polish tailor who worked for Blue Bell, worked closely with cowboys to help design jeans suitable for rodeo use. Voila, Wrangler Jeans were born! Wrangler has since added several other lines such as the 20X, Riggs and Aura. Blue Balls is the new line introduced in the SS2010 collection.
No longer just for the bull riding cowboy, Wrangler has come a long way enduring the test to time. If you want to go back to basics with a label that celebrates a man’s man dress sensibility, but now with a truly modern edge with just the right amount of sex appeal, get yourself some Wranglers. Ladies, get your lasso’s ready to reel in your Wrangler wearing man!
