Last night, I was having a grand old time sipping lots of wine by Paso Robles winemaker Kenneth Volk — very smooth by the way – while shopping and watching beautiful people at a party to launch Bijouxs, a new foodie blog. In the sea of fashionistas, I spotted this man who looked like he just came back from a fabulous Milan retreat. Looking tanned and relaxed, I felt he was the sort of person that my hero The Sartorialist would have shot, except, of course, he would’ve done way better than li’l ole me. When I asked the man if I could photograph him for Denim Therapy, he was a bit embarrassed, but happy to oblige. Then, I became nervous when he told me that he was a professional photographer.
