Isabel Marant’s spring collection is plain and simply: COOL; So it is no wonder that it was dedicated to a certain American era: The early ’80s days of hip-hop where denim ruled (think skateboarding and NOT- big, slouchy, or boxer showing). There were printed jeans as well as denim mini cutoffs (and you can not get any cooler than that) paired with check and rugby striped shirts. However having to stay true to her Boho glam/French chic she mixes in ruffles, florals, pastel pinks, and tunic frocks. It all works for me- so get in line!
