DENIM addicts will be getting all hot under the collar about Topshop‘s latest collaboration: with sexy New York denim label, J Brand.
“There is nothing more American than a great pair of Jeans,” Jeff
Rudes, J Brand co-founder, comments. “We believe Topshop customers will
appreciate the detail and workmanship in our line and feel good about
wearing a genuine piece of Americana.”
The three low-rise styles have been named after New York
neighbourhoods that exemplify the styles of the women who wear them.
The Brooklyn is the ultimate super-skinny jean with a narrow 12-inch
pencil leg, while a classic cigarette style comes in the form of the
Nolita with its 14-inch leg and the Manhattan is a slim-fit 22-inch
bell-bottom.
In keeping with the New York theme, the jeans come in four different
finishes, from sleek dark denim to a distressed, vintage look, with
names such as Bowery and Empire.
Mary Homer, Topshop’s managing director, adds: “We’re really excited
to be collaborating with J Brand. Topshop has established a reputation
for producing its own new, leading-edge jeans, and we’re proud to build
on this by working with the original cult jeans brand – J Brand.”
J Brand for Topshop will be available for a limited time from November 30, priced ?89.
