Late last month, it was announced that Rogan Gregory??”who had a successful turn collabing with Target with his higher-end eco-line, Rogan??”would be working again with the mass retailer, this time with his other eco-label, Loomstate, which he co-founded with Scott Hahn. To WWD,
Hahn describes Rogan as the more "arty and conceptual and avant garde"
of the two collections, and Loomstate as "geared toward function."
The men's and women's Loomstate for Target line will land in-store and online April 19 (in the proximity of Earth Day April 22) and will range from $14.99-$44.99.
The collection will include "graphic Ts such as a pelican print named
Persey and bikini boardshorts with the Persey design." Along with linen
and silk blends, Hahn told the trade regarding fabrication: "???We did a drunken yarn dye with a little curved wabi-sabi feeling that??™s totally unique…It??™s not ho-hum organic cotton. It??™s engineered fabrics, which makes it all the more interesting.???
WWD queried whether, like Rogan for Target, Loomstate for
Target would also be rolled out first at Barneys New York. A
spokesperson replied: ???In true Target fashion, we??™re always looking for
ways to evolve our strategies and evolve our designer model.???
