Is there such a thing as color stalking? I love this look (above) by Patrycia Regulska, from Poland, who posted her khaki pants inspiration on LookBook. With fall’s forecast of a courtship with bright reds, khaki as a neutral complement will offer balance and a sense of civility, besides making that tomatoed coat or crimson lip color really pop.
Not that red is my thing, but with a good pair of skinny khaki jeans to serve as the fall/winter denim jeans version of the LBD, I am suddenly all over red like white on rice. And if I’m not in the crimson mood, fall’s olive and gray tones will blend perfectly in a snap.
