Denim Insider: Rock & Republic Debuts Its Fall Collection at the Chateau Marmont Party

Last Friday, progressive denim label Rock & Republic and NYC electronic duo RATATAT, fA?ted some stylish friends at the famed Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood.  At the party, Rock & Republic debuted its new Fall Collection.  The collection includes the new cosmetic line, which is expected to be on par with YSL.  The Rock & Republic summer party was an all-day event, with stylist appointments during the day, dinner in the evening and party at night.

The party started with dinner under the gorgeous archway, followed by the after party, with DJ sets from RATATAT.  Fashionista friends of R&R included L.A. jewelry designer Loree Rodkin and stylists Johnny Wujek and Jewels Steger.

Yes, yes.  I don’t really see people wearing their usually ubiquitous "R" jeans at the party either.  Rock & Republic’s new Fall Collection showcases the company spreading its wings as a high-end luxury lifestyle brand, branching out into dresses, gowns, suiting, accessories and even a men’s collection.

Celebrity scoop: Will Ferrell was seated a few tables away with friends, while Brad Fisher was on the other side hosting guests, who included Harvey Weinstein and Dita Von Teese!  Of course, it wouldn’t be the Chateau without Jared Leto and Lara Flynn Boyle also having dinner inside.

At the party: Of course, lots of beautiful people hanging out, including actors Adrian Grenier of HBO’s "Entourage," (pictured with Rock’s CEO, Michael Ball and Rock’s President, Andrea Bernholtz, respectively); Jared Leto, Leven Rambin, William Moseley, Jamie Ray Newman, Ben Feldman, Ashley Greene, Alessandra Balazs (her father owns the place!) and Rob Mayes; musicians Z from The Like and Mickey Madden from Maroon 5.
