Here’s a tip if you’re planning on driving over to Chinatown for the New High (M)art sale: don’t get suckered into parking at the nearby expensive and big public lots, because it’ll cost you. Take the train into town or park 1 or 2 blocks away for $2-4 max. Try the free 1-hr parking with validation at Ai Hoa Supermarket on Hill Street (enter on College Street), about 2 short blocks away. There are also plenty of free 1-hour parking lots adjacent to restaurants around town. Note: you’ll be competing with the dimsum crowd so get there early.
Chinatown’s New High (M)art offers L.A. favorites at 50% off and beyond. High concept boutique/gallery New High (M)art plays host to a 3-way designer sample sale this weekend. The Chinatown shop is featuring awesome summer-ready merch from Alex & Chloe, Grey Ant, and Costume Dept. now priced at 50% off and more. Goods include Costume Dept. leggings, Alex & Chloe necklaces (now $25), T-shirts (now $15), and sunglasses (now $50), Grey Ant knits, jeans, and so much more! Plus, to sweeten the sale, the boutique is taking additional markdowns on their amazing in-store roster by 10-50% off. For those out of town, don’t feel bad, grab your own sale merch with their 10% e-boutique sale.
