Buffalo David Bitton delivers a mix of key trends and undisputed classics for both sexes in their latest fall/winter denim delivery. Women can choose between traditional styles like medium-wash skinny and mid-rise flare—or they can go for more festive fare, like metallic snakeskin ankle-zip jeans or autumnal yellow colored denim. Men are likewise treated to traditional selections in classic washes… but the more fashion-forward gents can score a pair of saturated teal skinnies. We’re favoring the latter. Their fall 2012 line features electric colors like magenta, neon orange, and cyan. The unique acid wash over-dye creates a slimming, sexy effect. LA-based Fred Segal Man released a capsule collection aimed at updating and modernizing the basic men’s wardrobe staples: a denim jacket, a pair of jeans, a hoodie, and a t-shirt. The jeans are what got us excited though—the cropped, destroyed hem bottoms come in a vibrant neon yellow, making this an intense contrasting piece that works really well for summer. They have succeded in taking hues like mint green and banana yellow and turning them all-out rugged, styled with basics like long-sleeve tees and work boots. One look at their lookbook suggests all matter of manly chores are easily executed in their clothing, whether you’re climbing ladders and hauling tools or trying to get some work done while a topless model attempts to distract you. Admirable. They’re also offering a range of solid classic dark-wash denim and a wide array of knitwear in spring/summer colors every guy should have a few of. Garden rake not included.
