Sarah Jessica Parker is often seen by paparazzi on her daily school runs with her kids, so as a good celebrity does, she makes an effort without trying to look too styled. One of our favorite covetables seen on her is the MiH Biker Jacket, an interpretation of a classic 1950s biker jacket. Do you love that jacket, too? A denim-sleeved biker jacket version is on a super sale right now, so check it out. Thinking about how you would style this moto jacket? We think some faded or pastel jeans would make great complements.

Winter is a great time of year to rock that jeans and boots look, no matter what type of boots or fit of jean. With the right pair of jeans, you’ll have months of hassle-free street style looks. For ankle boots, wear cropped jeans or try cuffing them with a thin cuff for a delicate look. Skinny or boyfriend jeans work. For tall boots, wear denim leggings or skinny jeans. They stay in your boots better and are less likely to pinch. Avoid wearing slim or boot cut jeans if you want to tuck them in. You want a sleek silhouette. Now, all you have to do is throw on the perfect knit top or wintry coat to complete the look.

What, wear denim with your fancy schmancy Burberry trench coat? Yup. The luxury fashion brand has featured a mini-me version in the form of a very adorable Burberry Boy’s trenchcoat via their own Tumblr account, and we think it hits all the right posh-but-relaxed notes for adults as well. We just love the pops of classic color against a neutral base. Want to get the look? We found a couple of fashion finds for your consideration.
Starting with a trench coat as your base, try a bright colored shirt and colored jeans to offset against the khaki. Fun statement jewelry or a cross body bag completes the haute commuter look.

Imogen D., a street style blogger from London, rocked an outfit that combined the best of opulent, luxe fabrics and a playful, polka-dot denim short. Winter is the perfect time to play with rich fabrics like metallic lamé, velvet, and velour—and if you want to keep things casual, mix it with a pair of jeans. The medium blue wash of Imogene’s denim is a nice tonal combo with her jewel tone jacket, and the gold top’s texture keeps the whole thing from looking like dress-up in mom’s teenage closet gone wrong. We give her an A+ on the top half, though we’d lose the socks and studded booties for something a little more sleek.

Flare jeans are making a comeback, but what do you wear them with in the colder months? Check out what this ShopBop stylist recommends to make sure you looking cool and cozy.
Q: It’s officially winter, and I go nowhere without a heavy coat. How can I pair parkas and flares without looking too bulky?
A: Again, keep things minimal and linear. Try a longer jacket with clean lines, hitting at the mid-thigh or knee. A wool trench coat is great, especially belted!

The Autumn/Winter 2011 G-Star Correct Line “Midnight Collection” is out, so if you’re still searching for the perfect holiday gifts, look no further. This collection is full of creative options for evening wear, but better than what you’re used to because of G-Star’s efforts to include new silhouettes and fabric choices. You can be sure that when you’re wearing anything from this line, you are sure to be the most talked about in the room (in a good way of course!). While the blue and black palette remind us of G-Star’s denim roots, it also makes these pieces extremely easy to pair with staple items in your closet, like black leather boots. Our favorite look from the collection has to be the NY RAW runway inspired dress, the Kalahari Dress. See the comparison below and shop for the rest of the items in stores or online at G-Star.

Jane Aldridge of fashion blog Sea Of Shoes has managed to keep a consistent level of great style and exciting product flowing in her blog since her rise to blogger stardom, and while her obsessions seem to be vintage clothing and (obviously) shoes, she has a keen eye for amazing jeans. Here she pairs Rich & Skinny‘s coated metallic Legacy Jean ($187—grab a pair here) with a Nordic sweater and hooded faux-fur trimmed jacket. Her Proenza boots sort of put the cherry on top of this outfit, but those on a budget, we love these black bootie heels as a substitute.
