We just got back fromĀ Jeremy Scott’s spring 2012 presentation at Milk Studios with the likes of Waris Ahluwalia and Peaches Geldof (and some dude on roller skates), and we were pleasantly surprised when the first four or five looks came parading down the runway. Head-to-toe denim! It translated quickly into neon colors, cactus-printed fabrics, assless-chaps and other design details that bring you straight back to a ’90s rave in an abandoned barn… but we gotta hand it to him—some of these womens’ denim looks were ready to wear right out onto the street (and we’d wear ‘em)!

BLK DNM has a wall full of ads posted up on a construction site in Tribeca, informing passers-by of a pop-up shop open now at 237 Lafayette (between Prince & Spring streets). The contrast white & red ad lists artists and designers featured in the BLK DNM gazette—names like Waris Ahluwalia and Terence Koh—available at the pop-up shop. The brand recently threw a chic downtown soiree to celebrate the release of the gazette. You can see some photos of the retail space at the BLK DNM website, and check out a preview of the gazette here.
