Hudson Jeans makes headlines. They’ve always got a fresh project going on, whether they’re casting stars for their campaigns, collaborating on high-tech textiles, or making big strides towards the wellbeing of women world-wide. Their deliveries are solid, on-trend, and worth looking forward to, and spring 2012 is no exception! When they showed us what’s in store post-snow and slush, we were overwhelmed with visions of spring and summer frivolity, thanks to a breezy pastel color palette, playful pinstripes, and vintage washed jeans with wide legs. They showed nautical stripes, acid washed cut-off shorts, and pop-color separates like a saturated peach tank top, too. Have a look at our favorite selections below.

Nicky Hilton is always perfectly in sync with fashion and style without ever having to go over the top even though she happens to be related to Paris Hilton. She is seen one of the newer style jeans from Jet by John Eshaya. The Vintage Wash Bell Bottoms are a pale sky blue hue with some rips on the upper left leg and it seems as if the bottoms are unhemmed (perhaps a DIY project of Nicky’s). She looks laid back in a white lace trimmed top, hair pulled back, sunglasses, and her signature Balenciaga bag. Effortless-chic is the Hilton sisters’ specialty.

One of Moose Limited’s weekly specials of the moment include this rad pair of “vintage grey” Kr3w jeans for an enticing $29.99. They have a quirky purple button closure detail, a smooth-worn wash, and purple belt straps to keep things interesting. Kr3w Denim Co. is well-known for their badass street wear aesthetic and a blog to prove it. There’s only three left in stock, and they’re probably not going to last long, so jump on it!

In the wave of spring lookbooks and sneak-peeks at next season’s trends in denim, brands like Diesel can really set the mood for consumers and stylists… and if you ask us, that’s a good thing. They’re reliable for classic cuts and basics for anyone playing it safe, while their rebellious side shines through in paint splattered, silk screened, boundary-pushing options for anyone whose life looks like one of Diesel’s crazy campaigns.

It looks like colored denim and pastels are coming back for the ladies this spring, but as opposed to the solid color craze that hit circa spring 2008, this run will be more about vibrant hues meeting vintage wash. Levi’s denim harem pants got mixed reviews when Gwen Stefani wore them last summer, but this updated Diesel version is set to take off like a stylish bat out of hell—we love them!

The guys are being treated to a palette of saturated deep blues with flecks of color and bleach (a very cheeky detail), with classic Diesel washes and cuts. The freshness-factor runs from pristine blue straight legs to worn-to-hell pinstripe work pants, with options for all walks of life. We won’t lie though, we wish there were a few pastel color picks for the gents too.

The whimsical pastels and barefoot models in M2F Brand Denim‘s spring 2011 lookbook call to mind the freshest spring breeze as the ice forms over the city pavement. We daydreamed our way through the pages of individually dyed and treated denim cuts in their signature “Clear H20″ colors, like Starflower, Tiger lilly, and Bluebell. M2F is known for their acute attention to dying denim in seasonal hues (their current fall collection comes in Black Tea, Brick Red, French Bordeaux…) with names so delicious, the sensory experience of their target customer is conjured up with a glance at the tag. We’re loving the Rose skinny leg and the Birchwood bootcut, but the Daffodil straight leg cuffed to the calves has us pining for summer already…

With vintage washes and candy-colored charm, M2F is sure to be a hot pick come spring. Get ahead of the game by browsing their new collection. Click here for the full lookbook.
