1. MiH Jeans have release three new pastel shades for spring/summer (if you haven’t heard, pastel is coming on strong for the warm months). Shop various colored jeans by MiH in their colored denim online shop.

2. On the other hand, Earnest Sewn is releasing some pop-colors for spring in saturated, fruity hues. We guess it’s time to decide whether we’re wearing pop-colors or pastel this year! …Just kidding, we’re going to wear both.

3. Eat Sleep Denim has a guide for those of us who think about getting rid of our denim the moment we buy it. (Wait, what?!) It’s not as cruel as it sounds. In fact, it’s quite smart.

4. Tenue de Nîmes met up with Japanese denim brand Pure Blue Japan at Pitti Uomo and uncovered some covetable jems you’ll want to see up-close. Luckily, they got their camera right in there and captured the gritty, gorgeous details.

5. Vincent Gallo seems to have a lot to think about in the new G-Star campaign.

Clemence Poesy For G-Star RAW Spring 2012, Sneak Peek at Bread & Butter Berlin Runway Presentation

French actress Clemence Poésy is the new campaign face of G-Star RAW, debuting in Spring-Summer 2012.  You may have seen her in Harry Potter and TV’s Gossip Girl.  Introduced at Bread & Butter Berlin, Poésy is featured in the campaign along with Vincent Gallo.  Poésy “reflects the characteristic brand DNA: she is a confident, strong and in control woman without compromising her femininity,” says Shubhankar Ray, G-Star Raw’s global brand director. At Bread & Butter Berlin, G-Star Raw’s stage was stylistically unkempt, as models struck their poses and strutted around wads of crumpled white masses. Check out the images for a peek!

G-Star Unveiles Their US Webstore Just In Time For Holiday Shopping Season

G-Star Raw is making holiday shopping a bit easier this year for state side fans of the brand by opening up their US webstore just in time for the hottest e-retail season of the year. also features global e-retail links, so more consumers than ever can jump on their latest styles. Here you’ll shop favorites like the Arc Super Skinny jean, 3301 Program, and the garments you saw on Gemma Arterton and Vincent Gallo in the latest campaign. G-Star Announces RAW Magazine For iPad

The 5th edition of RAW Magazine hits stands this month, and in addition to over four million copies distributed globally, this publication will now be blasted out via iPad. This interactive magazine includes video content on most of the topics in the issue as well as extensive imagery. Vincent Gallo For G-Star Raw

Hollywood star Vincent Gallo is the latest celebrity to model for G-Star’s new advertising campaign.  You might remember him from such films as “Buffalo ’66” and “GoodFellas.”  Gallo’s rugged and raw looks is in stark contrast to British actress Gemma Arterton’s classic, soft beauty, who remains G-Star’s female campaign model.  Shot by iconic photographer and film maker Anton Corbijn, the G-Star RAW Autumn/Winter 2011 campaign will go live widely in md-September.   In the campaign, which is a series of black and white images, both Vincent and Gemma wear the 3301 by G-Star RAW.

Besides the G-Star 3301 Straight Leg Jean, also featured for Autumn/Winter 2011 are the CL Blazer and the Essential Arc Western Jacket (above).  As Shubhankar Ray, Global Brand Director of G-Star RAW explains: “Vincent is unorthodox, authentic, imperfect and raw; all characteristics matching G-Star’s DNA.  We are happy to have an independent trailblazer and cultural artist like Vincent as our new face.”  A New York native, Gallo is an American artist, filmmaker, actor, musician, businessman and Grand Prix motorcycle racer.  For more information, go to G-Star online’s Collaborations page.
