A San Fransisco company called Wood Thumb is making wooden neckties out of reclaimed wood. This might be the coolest thing we’ve seen all week. They believe that “with a little creativity and inspiration, waste materials can be converted into useable products.” And they’re making their point with this clever accessory that happens to look pristine against a medium-wash chambray workshirt, or hanging between the buttons of a denim jacket. They claim this baby is lightweight, flexible, and “gets you into all the clubs”. They’re a mere $34, and make an awesome gift to the lumberjack (or forward thinking stylish man) in your life.
Buy your wooden tie from Wood Thumb here for $34.
Meet the makers in this video below, and be sure to check them out on facebook.
