You think you can’t wear colored denim this fall? Think again. Ashley Tisdale was spotted taking a lunch break on the set of Scary Movie 5 in Atlanta (yes, can you believe there’s another one?), wearing a pair of Tractr Jeans Natalie 5-pocket in Paprika ($84). They fit really well on Ashley (who stands at a petite 5’3″ height). We’re digging this muted hue for that much cooler weather we’re hoping to see soon. Tractr Jeans are all priced under $100. You can find a similar pair by Raven Jeans in Remy. Will you be wearing Autumn spice jeans this season?

Earnest Sewn has caught the colored jeans bug in the Harlan jean, a skinny low-rise jean with a zip fly. At a 34″” inseam, these colored denim skinny jeans may ride up bit by the ankles (as do most skinny jeans) and look great whether with flats or boots. ”Although I’m excited for the launch of the brights series, I wanted to put a spin on the colored denim trend, and introduce something cool and original to the market. A jean only some can pull off. I love that each cotton candy jean has a different blueprint of color stain, making no two pairs the same,” says Benjamin Talley Smith, Earnest Sewn creative director.

Last Friday, Hudson Jeans‘ Phosphorescent Invasion landed in the Meatpacking District, during New York Fashion Week. The East Coast launch event made a big splash as denim lovers and celebs (i.e. Coco Rocha and Joe Jonas) jammed inside retailer SCOOP NYC. Hudson Jeans is known for throwing some of the best parties in the industry, and who couldn’t resist the glowing neon lights and crystalline structure decor? All of this was to promote their new LouLou tuxedo stripe jeans. Watch the video to see highlights from the party.

Paige Premium Denim has taken colored denim revival to a whole new level. Moving past the basic, mundane hues every brand has seemed to introduce this season, Paige welcomes Spring/Summer 2012 with bright and effervescent pastel hues. The fun, flirty colors come in Paige’s staple skinny cut, the Verdugo. Pixie, Mandarin and Mint are the newest neon additions, what other colors would you like to brighten up your wardrobe this season?

Denim brand Current/Elliott has taken colored jeans to a new level for Spring 2012 by offering leopard prints and florals in their popular Stiletto low-rise skinny jeans fit. The neon-striped and floral prints are sold out and hard to find online, but you can find the leopard print jeans at many online retailers. From a faded “dusty peach” to “petal-pink” to “mint,” you can explore the wild side of color in these easy-on-the-eyes pastel hues. However, if you are really in love with a more traditional leopard jean, Current/Elliott also has the reddish “fig,” black, gray and camel colored leopard jeans, denim skirts and jacket. Pair your leopard pastel jeans with black booties or a neutral colored shoe, and you’re ready to rock.
You can find a selection of Current/Elliott’s Stilt Leopard skinny jeans at REVOLVE Clothing online and Net-a-Porter online.

What happens when you expose spiders to LSD, Marijuana and pure caffeine? You get the most amazing abstract web patterns—the inspiration behind the Helmut Lang Pre-Fall 2012 Collection. If you’ve ever been unsure about rocking a pair of printed jeans, then the spider web art on jeans might change your mind. After studying photographs of these webs, husband and wife design team Nicole and Michael Colovos injected the web patterns throughout this collection. You’ll find the intoxicated web creations printed or as burnouts on the jeans. Could these be the new It Jeans? Helmut Lang clothing remains both hard with razor cut angles and soft with fluid draping; while, its range of skinny jeans and cropped, baggy drop-crotch pants, serve as the constant.

Are these the new It Jeans? Fiercely independent, Current/Elliott is a denim brand who has been known to set denim trends, so we’re not surprised they have produced muted polka dot and striped jeans—a departure from all the colored jeans coming out. No strangers to pushing the striped jean (remember the Hickory Stripe jean from their debut collection?), this duo constantly finds new ways for us to get excited about jeans. By the way, these jeans are an answer to the neon jeans trend, for those who want jeans that are fun but not bright. Looks like ’80s fashion is alive and well.
