We have seen lots of celebrities rocking the ripped jeans look over the last few seasons. Many times, it looks rad and we want to run out and buy their shredded blues. But, take one look at Brandy Norwood, and you’ll know exactly what we mean when we dub denim “too destroyed“. Fortunately for Brandy, all it takes is a quick trip to Denim Therapy to get those holes under control. Check out all of our services and see what other things we can do Brandy, and you!

There’s a fine line between fashion holes in your jeans and those tears that cross the line into not-so-cool territory. Obviously Mary-Kate Olsen knows how to rock torn denim, but how much bigger would you let your holes get before you sent your jeans to us? Whatever the size and wherever the location, Denim Therapy is here to fix all your rips (or, we could just turn those holey pants into badass cut-offs).

If you don’t live in Manhattan, Los Angeles, Chicago or San Francisco, then you might be a tad disappointed when the H&M Dragon Tattoo Collection hits select stores in those cities on December 14. The “dark, urban collection” is inspired by Lisbeth Salander, the anti-heroine from the highly-anticipated film adaptation to “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” H&M’s collaboration with costume designer Trish Summerville promises to feed accessible fashion addicts with edgy jackets, torn jeans, and hoodies colored in the deepest shades of black, white, grey and crimson. Lucky Manhattanites will get dibs on H&M’s pop-up store in the Meatpacking District (72 Gansevoort St) opening December 14th at noon.

A traumatic (and very not-cute) bike accident while on vacation last week inspired us to share some of our recent knee repairs with you guys. Although our jeans were okay, our knees and pride were a little more than bruised. Check out some recent before and after knee repairs below. Had we needed it, we know exactly where we would have taken our jeans for repair!

Repairing jeans is our business here at Denim Therapy. And our most common repair? We like to call it the crotch blowout. It’s what happens when you ride bikes, do a lot of walking, or basically just LIVE YOUR LIFE. After spending a while in your jeans, the crotch area at the base of your bum begins to wear away on the left and right sides of the inseam, forming holes in the fabric. Crotch blowouts happen to both guys and girls, in tight jeans or baggy jeans—it’s just a point of stress on the fabric. Below is a recent before and after of some jeans we repaired. The right side had a 2 inch hole, and the left side needed some preventative reinforcement.
Has this happened to you? Let us fix your jeans! Go to www.denimtherapy.com to find out more about our repair services and reweaving process, and to look at more before and afters.

Comedian it-boy Russel Brand was seen roaming the streets in New York wearing damaged Neil Barrett Denim. (Denim Therapy to the rescue?! Just let us know, Russel). His washed out gray jeans are paired with a gray t-shirt, black leather jacket, and high top white sneakers (spotlessly clean, from what we see). He was toting a bag from Bubby’s (a pie company), which we can’t help but amuse ourselves over considering his wife is practically a pastry herself. But if he has a sweet tooth, why the monochrome? Seems he’s all about the British comedian rock star vibe, from wild hair to dark glasses.
