If you’re looking for ideas for a sexy Valentine’s Day gift, take cues from TEXTILE Elizabeth & James. Make a playful and sexy fashion video. TEXTILE produced a video for Spring 2012, in which model Abby Brothers gives us a private fashion show, which starts out with her stripping off her clothes and lounging around in her TEXTILE branded underwear. Eventually, she does slide her TEXTILE jeans back on effortlessly. You might wonder whether the Olsen twins were spinning off a new intimates collection, or that this video looks familiar somehow, because you’re onto something: the video pays homage to iconic denim advertisements of the ’90s.
Shot by photographer and cinematographer Jason McDonald, the video first debuted inside NYC taxi cabs. View the extended video on Textile Elizabeth & James’ Facebook Page.

This spring, expect to see stylish people not only rocking colored jeans, but pastel snakeskin print jeans, thanks to TEXTILE Elizabeth & James. The denim-driven brand offshoot of the more runway-friendly Elizabeth & James fashion label is daring fashionistas to go boldly beyond solid neons (check out their pre-Spring neon capsule collection at Shopbop) and basic five-pocket jeans. Fancy a psychedelic kaleidoscope print? Last season’s nod to the ’70s continues somewhat; however, the collection has a larger ’80s fashion presence: skinny ankle jeans, pastel denim and a boyish denim overall. If you’re still in love with their bell bottom jeans, TEXTILE will have a juicier version to appease you. Check out the lookbook and take it all in.

One of the hottest and most wearable trend of the season is definitely the western-meets-bohemian look. So far we’ve shown you hot to rock it with bold prints and scantly denim shorts shorts, but now that it’s getting a bit more chilly we figure you might want to add a layer or two. We love this girls take on this trend, so we broke it down for you for some food for thought. Her double denim look gets a cozy revamp with a oversized chunky knit sweater thrown over. An on-trend floppy hat, worn in suede booties, and gold accessories add the perfect western flare without going overboard.

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen‘s more casual spinoff collection, TEXTILE Elizabeth & James, recently took a road trip to the California desert to shoot its first brand campaign, featuring pieces from its summer and fall 2011 collections. Inspired by a 1969 trip to Joshua Tree, California, Ashley and Mary-Kate packed up their team and drove to Palm Springs to produce a photo shoot using a variety of camera set ups to produce a collage effect. Produced in two parts, we get to feast our eyes on Textile by Elizabeth and James jeans, part one here. Just launched last spring, TEXTILE Elizabeth & James has generated a lot of buzz around this brand which features denim. Love this new collection as much as we do? Stay tuned for part two!
