Last time we previewed d.brand’s SS13 collection we were frolicking through PROJECT NY. Now the line is ready to roll, and you can see it in action in this gorgeous lookbook full of pastel colored denim and casual-cool separates. We’re all over the gradient bleached denim and cuffed orange shorts, but the mint green jeans are the clear winners.

It’s happened to us all: We find the most amazing pair of jeans, they’re the only pair left, and they’re just a few sizes off. Some might give up, but others, like Sarah (who found the last pair of pink d.brand jeans), buy them anyway and make them work. How? By using Denim Therapy‘s incredible resizing service! Send your jeans in now and see how perfectly they can fit. And, click the video below for a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to get your denim fitting like a glove.

Being five feet tall is something Sarah at Denim Therapy has come to terms with in her 29 years. She makes Eric get the jeans that are on the high shelves, and she has become an expert at standing on chairs when necessary. But, when she discovered Swedish denim company d.brand made jeans in her perfect waist size, she decided it was time to stop rolling her hems and get jeans that actually fit. Watch her talk about the revelation she had and get a sneak peak into the Denim Therapy office where all the magic happens.

New Year, New Jeans! That’s what we thought while we were browsing our closets this morning, wondering what we should wear on the first official work day of 2012. Our blog editor MC chose a pair of d.brand acid wash skinny jeans—her favorite pair of the moment. Below, she reveals a more detailed explanation of why she wants to wear them all week.
What was your first thought when you tried them on? My first thought was, these look awesome with everything in my closet, and I am probably going to wear them all week.
Where/when would you wear these? I wore them to the d.brand x DT party we had before Xmas, and got so many compliments on pairing them with this navy sheer lace top. Today I’m going to wear them to run errands and they’re comfortable enough to hang out doing work in. They’re definitely not pajamas though—they’re stiffer than a spandex-blend jean.
How’s the fit? I wouldn’t mind a slightly higher waist, but nothing is hanging out, so we’re good to go. I think they make my legs look thinner despite the light wash.

Earlier this month, d.brand threw a stylish rager at Gunbar in the meatpacking district to celebrate the launch of their line in New York. We were there, and we gotta tell it like it is: Beautiful. Swedish. Girls. Everywhere. As we told you previously, Gunbar linked up with d.brand in a nightlife x clothing partnership, and now their entire staff rock custom designed d.brand jackets clothing while they work. We snapped some party pics to bring the fun back home to our readers—so sit back and enjoy the madness, sans-hangover.

Things are looking bright for Swedish brand JC Jeans & Clothes with the release of their fresh-looking spring 2011 lookbook. Aside from the fact that the models wear almost identical vacant expressions in each shot (which may be a poke at editorial modeling, but seems more likely a brand that missed the band wagon on the “models having fun” trend in lookbooks this season), the energy from the clean design and classic color combos has definitely caught our attention. We love the denim jacket over white sundress for girls and a denim shirt under loose-knit white sweater for guys. These are looks you could bring home to mom any day.

Nudie Jeans is on a roll! The Swedish brand has opened their third concept store in Shinjuku, Japan. With 200 retailers in Japan carrying the line, it looks like they’re fit for a full blown takeover! The company has established concept stores abroad to ensure customers have direct access to the brand’s core vision. Sales and Marketing Director, Andreas ?hrman, stresses the importance of shopping for a product in an environment that reflects the brand’s principles as part of establishing a relationship with the customer.
