Stitch’s Jeans opted for jewel tone colored denim for spring in bright, saturated hues that are ideal for bright summer styling. With a decidedly West Coast feel, the line features playful overalls, above-the-knee cut-off shorts, cuffed/cropped jeans that mimic chinos, and of course, super short-shorts with super-frayed hems. Aside from this array of whimsical colors, Stitch’s Jeans offers neutral basics and darker washes in your standard styles. You can shop their collection online to get a head start on your spring wardrobe.

With just three days of live-blogging PROJECT NY, there was no way we could include all of the brands that caught our eye! Between denim lines, shirting, and accessories, we had a lot of amazing product to chew on. After sorting through thousands of photos and exciting video we took, we’ve compiled five brands we’re crazy about so you can keep an eye on them.
d.brand (Sweden) + d.brand Official Site
The rising stars of Swedish denim & lifestyle products are already outfitting major celebrities overseas and racking up press in magazines, but their colorful, fun approach to fashion is anything but intimidating. Pop colors, gem rivets, and denim-loungewear hybrids make their line a must-have for anyone who wants to be comfortable and tapped into music & youth culture. Their classic styles are right on target too. They produce fragrances and outerwear in addition to their denim & sportswear lines.
Doctrine Jeans (Los Angeles, California) + Doctrine Jeans Official Site
Doctrine’s functional, on-trend premium denim line takes pride in being a brand that has built itself on the expertise and on-hands experience of masters in the denim industry over many years. They aim to provide their customer with fashion-forward denim to be worn anywhere/anytime. And they succeed! From denim chinos to seamed contour jeans and a variety of colors, coatings, and washes, there is something for every taste.
Hartford Denim Company (Hartford, Connecticut) + Hartford Denim Company Official Site
A fresh, craft-oriented approach to denim in the “white collar state”, Hartford Denim Company has taken denim DIY to a truly admirable level. Slowly building up their business one pair of innovative, industrial jeans at a time, their brand possesses details that set them far, far apart from other buzz-worthy denim companies of the moment. Everything is handmade in their Connecticut studio, where their denim experiments turn into products. Each pair features a CT-shaped leather patch tag and hand-drawn hang tag. And that’s seriously only the beginning. Keep an eye on these guys!
Stitch’s Jeans (Hollywood, California) + Stitch’s Jeans Official Site
We’ve got to admit, Stitch’s caught our eye at PROJECT because sales rep Chris was offering a plate of homemade pastries to anyone who stopped in to chat. After savoring the treat, we realized the jeans were totally blog-worthy too! Colored corduroys for fall are one trend we’re getting into big time, and Stitch’s take was a dreamy palette of pastels in and de-saturated hues. The pale burnt peach was our favorite. They also offer a line of men’s socks with fun pop-colors (perfect way to self-express if you have to wear a suit to work!).
Jimmy Taverniti + Jimmy Taverniti Official Site
JT was another brand hopping on the colored corduroy jeans train for fall (and we can’t get enough). They had classic fall hues like de-saturated mustard, red, and gray. Styles included cargo pockets and various fits, back zip pockets, and detail stitching. It was love at first sight on the racks, but their sales rep wore the most coveted style in the fall line. Check it out below.

Entourage star Jeremy Piven is ready for a workout, fully equipped with yoga gear as he heads into class Monday in Los Angeles.
My what lovely whiskers you have! I am glad to see that Jeremy Piven is doing better, and seems to be recovering from mercury poisoning. With chelation therapy, yoga, and a smart pair of crunchy jeans like his, he’s healing in style. Are these PRPS, Stitch’s, or Joe’s jeans he’s wearing? Can you figure it out?
