This could start out as a classic case of would you wear it? But we’re going to start off instead with a yes we can! Metallic pastel skinny jeans are the perfect way to spice things up this spring. Wear them with your favorite strappy sandals and a breezy tank-and-bandeau combo. You’re in luck if you’re ready to take this trend into your own hands… these two pairs are on sale for under $100.

In contrast to Closed‘s Fall 2012 collection, which incorporates subdued splashes of colored denim and separates, the Winter collection kicks it up a notch with bolder and brighter blues, magenta (an emerging trendy color right now), softened greens and purples, which dot the men’s collection. For the women, expect to find bronze and silver jeans along side their colorful gem colored jeans. Of course, you can sift through their requisite collection of indigo and grays for winter—all in slim and skinny fits—but don’t you think a splash of color adds spice to your wardrobe?

In the market for a pair of jeans to party in? Denim Therapy’s founder Francine test drove a pair of Bleulab Reversible Denim in a gorgeous metallic-champagne hue at NYC hotspot Le Bain recently, to see if the jeans would pass the New York nightlife test. The style in question? The Detour Legging in gold membrane (reversible to reveal a grey leather jean on the other side). And guess what—they did! She styled them with a chic knit top and killer metallic necklace to bring the look full circle. Check out what she felt about the fit and function below.
What was your first thought when you tried them on? First thought was, I can’t wait to go party and wear these jeans! (And so I did). They are so comfortable and yet look and feel so cool!
Where/when would you wear these? They are reversible so you can wear day and night and style them in so many different ways. I can literally wear them to Le Bain (pictured above) or for a Sunday brunch.
How’s the fit? It’s great. They’re skinny and sit above the waist. They don’t have front pockets so has been a bit of an adjustment… but hey, who needs those pockets when you can wear them with a chic bag?
Want these jeans? Score them now for $224.

We love Bleulab Reversible Denim (who wouldn’t love owning two pairs of jeans in one?) as you may have picked up while reading our recent reports on the line, and their transition into spring 2012 is the stuff dreams are made of. Whether you’re craving a classic faded dark wash jean or a candy-colored pastel hue, they’ve got you covered front to back. Pun intended. Metallics, faux-animal skins, and primary colors take the stage alongside acid wash, houndstooth print, and even florals. The range is wide and it’ll be hard to shop this line full of must-haves, but one thing’s for sure: whatever you choose, you’ll stand out in the crowd. Check out their latest lookbook below.

If you need a break from candy-colors and saturated statements that are flooding the denim market right now, check out this alternative to being the boldest jeans-wearing gal on the block: silver! Metallic accents are a fall fashion essential, but this is one way to take that trend and make it twice as glam. Style blogger Kristina rocks silver metallic skinny jeans with a white graphic t-shirt, silver nail polish, and a rhinestone studded bracelet. Want to steal this look? We show you how below.

Venus and Aphrodite were Roman goddesses that defined love, beauty and fertility in Greek mythology. Botticelli’s depiction of Venus in his famous painting, The Birth of Venus, illustrates a curvaceous Venus and the infamous sculpture, Aphrodite of Milos at the Louvre, displays a heavenly bodacious Aphrodite. Big, bold and beautiful are the key words for this fall and winter trends and so are women!
