We’ll be honest, we wear denim cut-off’s all year round. With a cute pair of tights and some fresh kicks, you have no excuse to push your jean shorts into a “summer” box and stuff them under your bed. But it’s true that there’s a certain magic that comes with the season of Daisy Duke‘s, and while there are still a few humid, sunny days left in the August-to-September transition, it’s a good idea to get the most out of them. Heather Graham first came onto the Hollywood scene as the rollerskating hottie in the film “Boogie Nights” and it seems to be that she still manages to flaunt her short shorts in a pair of Raven Denim Logan in Epic wash. She was seen wearing washed out blue cut offs starring as artsy and adventurous ‘Aunt Opal’ alongside the adorable Jordana Beatty as the film’s leading little lady, in the summer blockbuster feature film “Judy Moody & the Not Bummer Summer“.

Showing off her fit figure, Victoria’s Secret supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio has been spotted on multiple occasions lately, from Malibu to LA. She was seen in a silver bikini top and AG Farrah Shorts. On a second instance she kept the same shorts but opted for a Wildfox Swim ‘Marilyn’ one piece. She also was seen shopping in Wildfox ‘Friday Night’ shorts in Aqua. It looked like a full-weekend fashion show with the change of outfits and cool denim-style. She’ll be taking her style on the road to Florida as part of the cross-country “Bombshell Summer Tour” for Victoria’s Secret. We are looking forward to more of her Daisy Duke candids!

When we spotted these baby blues on Denimology we got a rush of almost-warm-weather coursing through our minds, and visions of BBQs, sand-strolling, and hanging out all afternoon to wash the car in the sun (hey, some people enjoy that!). It’s true—we love denim shorts. Here the look is made flawless by a saturated striped shirt that ties up in as a cropped style. Note that it’s not too tight, which would result in a slippery slope to fashion disaster. Give this style a boost with boho ballet flats or strappy sandals (so you’re not contained to the driveway).

We love the [BLANKNYC] spring 2011 lookbook—it’s straight forward, functional, and chic. The flirty short-shorts with contrast flap pockets and saturated blue match-everything skinny jeans are flawless spring wardrobe staples. Stylish accents like loose-fit high-waisted fire engine red lounge pants and cropped/cuffed dark wash jeans make for edgy picks in the evening. Each look could be punctuated with a pair of converse or a serious pair of heels. Everyone from the L.L.
