If you’re looking for a way to amp up your denims’ sex appeal then this is totally for you. Take a hint from blogger Andy Torres and take your denim workshirt into new territory by styling it with skin-tight, high waisted riding pants and an itty bitty leather corset. Throw on a pair of oversized sunnies and simple heels, add a leopard print clutch for an extra bit allure and you’re good to go! Whoever said a denim workshirt couldn’t be sexy, obviously didn’t know this girl!

Here at denim therapy we’re suckers for a great editorial, and the Vanity Fair May 2011 Italia issue featuring Sophie Holmes is no exception to the rule. Model Sophie Holmes, gallivants around the streets of Palermo in southern Italy in denim ensembles by the likes of D&G, Replay, Blumarine and Miu Miu. Holmes oozes femininity and sets the overall ambience for the glam editorial. Shot by photographer Signe Vilstrup, the feature is a unique collaboration of chic fashion and fun, that has an overall vintage feel to it. We love the denim jacket, paired with the printed summer dress, because it combines the two elements mentioned above. Holmes undeniably makes denim look sexy.

While most of this is borderline slutty, we can’t help but admire the long limbs and awesome denim separates featured in this editorial from Vanity Fair Italia May 2011. Shot by Sergi Pons, model Jules Mordovets seduces the lens from every angle in tied-up cropped denim work shirts, denim shorts with thigh-highs, and super-high heels. We love the ruffled one-piece jumper in the opening image below—a super cute, feminine take on traditional denim styles.

What do you get when you mix a perfectly toned bum, a gorgeous model, and a great pair of jeans? A great start to your Friday. On this lovely morning we’re dedicated to helping you kick off the upcoming weekend in the right way with Habitual new Spring/Summer 2011 look book. The denim line features clean and sexy jeans, cleverly designed with the brand’s trademarked embossed surfer’s cross. The brand’s motto”We hope that our jeans will become your next unbreakable habit” is a clear representation of the next addicting denim habit we might not want to kick. Whether you prefer skinny or flared denim, all the pieces seem to be quite indulgent and figure flattering. A factor quite hard to resist, especially if you’ve got a bum like the model pictured here, and even if you don’t, this lookbook still has many of us saying: TGIF!

Is it too early for this much sex appeal? We think not. Mih Jeans has had plenty of practice in outfitting carefree endless-summer starlets from certified “vintage” times to present, and their newest lookbook shows no sway in their aesthetic aim. And seeing as Mih is one label that will only purchase fabrics from suppliers who meet their environmentally-responsible standards (and produce everything in factories that have been in the family for decades), this is one visual vacation we can get behind. Minimally styled utilizing only the best denim wardrobe essentials from work shirts to jeans in wide-leg and skinny fits, this spring lookbook has an overall appeal that makes transitioning between seasons that much easier.
