The latest campaign for QS by S. Oliver might have just single-handedly seduced us into fall, officially snapping us out of our summer mode. Who would of thought the day would come? All we have to say is that if fall promises to be a denim fest as cool, hip, young, and simply rockin’ as this campaign looks we’re totally down! Our favorite piece? Where do we start? The latest from German brand S. Oliver hits us with a heavy dose of preppy Americana style infused with a whole lot of stripes and perfect denim separates. Denim jackets in dark indigos and easy breezy chambray skirts and blouses are perfectly styled with striped tank tops and t-shirt dresses for the perfect summer-ready look. We are really loving how the slight retro feel added into the mix by the hair and make up keeps what could be a “been there, done that” kind of look young and fresh. Romanian model Silviu Tolu is the star of the QS by sOLIVER spring 2011 campaign. It embodies the very essence of being young rebellious urban kids dressed in clothes designed for fence-hopping and running from the law after committing petty crimes (we feel bad for that building they’re defacing). Denim-on-denim is a prevelant trend with a majority of light wash denim separates as a canvas for details like pop-color T’s, handkerchiefs and metallic accessories. Other basics include floral knit tops for the girls and a black vest-over-t-shirt combo for the guys. Add a pompadour and some flirty model interaction, and you’ve got a recipe for stayin’ young!
