We stopped in our tracks when we saw this artisinal ”Sashiko” patchwork tote bag by Kapital. The bag is created using thin layers of quilted fabric strips, pieced together with big top-stitches. The contrasting fabric and various areas of wear make it look like something a modern nomad fenagled out of destroyed jeans. In other words, we need one. They retail for $230 at Hickorees.
