What do you wear to a G-Star party? Well, it better be G-Star jeans or some of their other denim separates. In some cases, we found a few people at the G-Star x Kitson Capsule Collection launch party sporting True Religion jeans (gasp!) and Levi’s 501s. And when is it okay to wear double denim? Never say never. Well, some folks looked pretty darn good. And when is it excusable to not wear denim? Better ask a former Cylon. Or maybe not. Actress Tricia Helfer (“Battlestar Galactica”) was out with friends, soaking up the scene. We must say, some of the most stylish people of the evening, besides “Women’s Night” host Rosario Dawson and G-Star Women’s Designer Rebekka Bach, were Chelsea Matthews and Erin Rivera of No Subject, the organizers of the event.

On Oscar weekend, Mad Men‘s January Jones was snapped at the Chanel pre-Oscars party in a Chanel dress and a TEXTILE Elizabeth and James denim jacket. We thought she was pretty daring at first, until we found out another actress, Emma Stone, also dressed similarly. Is this a new trend emerging, you may ask? Time will tell, but we’re always up for trying something a bit glam and rebellious, just like January.
