Spartacus/Die Hard star Jai Courtney was spotted at the ‘Die Hard’ Berlin Photocall in a pair of Nudie Jeans Co. Organic Black + Grey jeans. We’re hoping this shot reinforces the very attractive standard of dudes wearing denim with tailored blazers instead of suit pants. Yes/yes?

Spring 2013 for Nudie Jeans Co. means bold colors like burnt lemon yellow, teal, and rich maroon. Colored denim for men is making a big comeback through hues specifically catered to dudes. Nudie is making a “sartorial statement of the brand’s culture, bringing vibrant color and fun to your wardrobe. Each jean will live the wearers life, bleed and fade just like any denim wash.” Additionally, a classic range of organic blue jeans ranging in color from light-wash white to deep indigo are available.

Last Friday, Nudie Jeans opened their newest showroom in Los Angeles. ”We’re growing!” exclaimed Chris Adams, Nudie Jeans’ west coast sales/brand manager. With its flagship Nudie Jeans House showroom in West Hollywood still in place, this latest expansion situates the company close to major showrooms and the California Market Center. Expect to see the same signature meticulous, minimal-industrical decor of a Nudie Jeans showroom, complemented by the buzz and energy of downtown Los Angeles. Nudie’s US sales director Michael Irving flew in from New York to attend the opening, joined by local indie band NO and a host of local Nudie jeans aficionados.

A brand well known for being ultra-classic and artisan-inspired, Raleigh Denim is branching out into trendier waters for spring 2013. Fear not, they won’t be pushing any pop-art inspired prints or novelty cuts. Instead, they’re introducing a variety of colored denim for women in rich hues like cranberry, pale-lilac, and grape. Yes, we want them all.

It’s time to refill your wardrobe with new items from the Nudie Jeans Fall/Winter 2012 Injection: A Twist Of Black. It just launched on the webshop and select retailers in the US. There are three new organic denim fabrics available only at Nudie Jeans and used exclusively for this Injection collection. All three washes are experimental with the mixology of black and indigo. Washing, bleaching and tints have transformed the indigo denim into distinctive different shades, all sharing a signature streakiness. Denim shirts are made in 13,5 oz. rigid denim washed and bleached. Knitted sweaters with intertwined yarns and over-dyed, printed tees. The collection reflects its namesake – twisted, streaky and dark.

We stopped by the Nudie Jeans Co. showroom recently to preview one of our favorite Swedish denim brands—a brand that embodies both modern Scandinavian culture and classic utilitarian elements in denim and sportswear. Their unisex jeans have made the full transition into 100% organic territory, from denim fabric to pocket linings, buttons, rivets and labeling. It’s all raw material. The iconic orange stitching compliments an array of beautiful Japanese plaids with rich autumn hues for the cold season, all of which is further backed by a line of accessories and the exponentially successful backbone collection.
