Raleigh Denim‘s husband and wife design team Sarah and Victor Lytvinenko mingled through a lively crowd at their first NYC store opening party, with everyone from raw denim lovers to bloggers and It-crowd staples in the mix. Patrons drank home-grown Raleigh moonshine from glass tanks suspended from the ceiling and spun a denim ferriswheel below a grid structure speckled with paper airplanes. Sound amazing? There was also popcorn. Check out party pics below.

We went to see the Japanese Indigo: Boro exhibition at Mondo Cane last night and snapped some photos of the gorgeous (and for sale!) vintage indigo-dyed denims and textiles collected by photographer Eric Kvatek (known for shooting the lookbooks of brands like PRPS and Kapital). We were blown away by the textures, stitching, and huge size of some of the pieces. Check out our snaps below!

Met John Mayer last night. Or, was it Jack White? Johnny Depp? Yes, it was Mr. Mayer, and he was wearing an awesome denim jacket x cowboy hat combo. Good to know he’s a fellow denim lover! NYC DJ and certified badass party animal Haruka Salt opened up the doors to her closet recently so Denim Therapy could get a closer look at her style. Her selections included black and white lightening bolt printed jeans, acid wash high-waisted skinnies, and a lot of high-contrast pop accents. She confided in us that she loves mixing up vintage clothing with new, coming up with just as much variation as you’ll find in one of her DJ sets. We hit the street with Haruka in her favorite outfits and took these shots—get inspired below, and listen to one of her mixtapes while you scroll!
