If you think your closet might need a little European boost this Spring, look no further than the gorgeous Italian designs of Nine in the Morning.  Giving us some of their most perfectly fitted, sexy denim yet, it’s easy to see that owners and brothers Umberto and Alessandro Vendramin came from a long line of luxury textilers. This season’s lookbook features looser-fitting, paint-splattered jeans for both men and women, as well as dark-wash, super tight women’s jeans that appear to be stretchy enough to do yoga in. Seriously, could these jeans fit any better?  We think not.

Nine In The Morning: Autumn-Winter 2011-2012


Italian-based denim brand Nine in the Morning continues to impress us with their ever evolving line of jeans which visibly seems to be maturing and refining itself at an enormous rate.  When we were first introduced to this brand last year, it was one of many new denim brands coming into the market, competing for attention.  The wheat has been separated from the chaff, and Nine in the Morning stands strong.  For the Autumn-Winter 2011 campaign, we see a woman and man in various poses and expressions, conveying what appears to be a play, aptly titled, “The Autumn and The Winter.”  The freeing expressions and contortion of their bodies demonstrates Nine in the Morning’s fit and ability to extend beyond normal wear and tear; creating character in its creases, folds and distress points.

Nine in the Morning’s Natural Collection is Eco-Friendly


Earth Week is in full swing, and it’s no time like the present to pick out denim from eco-conscious brands.  Along with a regular denim line, Nine in the Morning has a dedicated eco-friendly Natural Collection made from organic cotton that is dyed with vegetable indigo.  Founded by brothers Umberto and Alessandro Vendramin who are textile legacy producers, they have worked with top designers such as Luigi Martell, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Prada.   The jeans retail for $163 to $215.
