We’re DIY-obsessed here at DT, but one thing that really lights a fire under us is vintage inspiration from denim-days gone by. One such exciting example is one we found at this crafty blog, featuring magazine pages of embroidered denim from the 1970s. The colorful bohemian designs root from the ethnic influences that becoming massively popular at the time (and have made a serious comeback now). The images are from a contest the magazine (New Ingenue) was holding, titled “Decorate Your Denim”. Sounds fun, doesn’t it? Check out some of the winners below, and get inspired!
