While known for sourcing some of NYC’s downtown crowd’s most coveted vintage denim, What Goes Around Comes Around is also responsible for a core collection of handsome basics that pay homage to Americana style. The latest in their menswear collection revealed soft chambray button-down workshirts with subtle details like pin stripes, nautical anchors, and polka-dots. We can see these looking great under roomy wool sweaters or tailored vests.
MiH Jeans is known for their British heritage vibe, classic color schemes, and sophisticated take on sportswear… and their pre-spring collection is no exception! Denim Therapy stopped by the showroom recently to get a sneak peek at the line and chat with the MiH jeans showroom team, Marisa and Patricia. They showed us one must-have after another, like a crisp high-waisted flare with front fly detail stitching in both black and white, a relaxed fit boyfriend jean (perfect for cuffing and pairing with literally anything—even the wash is a match-all classic medium), and a gorgeous saturated straight leg.
The tops in the collection are the icing on the cake, ranging from semi-sheer blouses to v-neck tunics and striped preppy knits with shoulder button detail. We also saw two amazing statement jackets implementing elegant sherling and bright red fringe… and while that may sound outlandish for MiH, they execute with the cleanest of aesthetics.
An original MiH poster hangs above the desk at the MiH jeans headquarters, and it reads, “In 1969 while the world was busy putting man on the moon, here at Made In Heaven we were busy creating the best jeans on earth”.
We think that passion still very much plays through in the brand’s image and the clothing itself.
