Forget the cat walk! Everyone knows the real excitement in recent years of Paris Fashion Week (and global fashion week, for that matter) is what everyone’s wearing when they’re walking to/from shows, or hanging out backstage. Off-duty ensembles are on the same level of sought-after as street style, so when you’re looking for styling tips, direct your eyes accordingly. Here are a few of our favorite babes in killer denim outfits at Paris Fashion Week.
Always hip and trending with a bit of off kilter cool, Alexa Chung styled up one of designer’s Stella McCartney LDDs (little denim dresses) for an easy look. She paired her denim sheath with moss-hued Chloé snakeskin pumps and a boxy satchel.
The beautiful Poppy Delevingne was spotted in Paige Denim Verdugo Ultra Skinny at Miu Miu. We are loving the python print jeans that she paired with a leather jacket and cable knit sweater.
It girl and uber-chic stylist Caroline Sieber was also attending the Miu Miu show rocking a pair of ultra short cut-off shorts with some mega stilettos. You don’t have to be in fashion to know fashion, but this is a look we are going to steal—STAT!
Supermodel Miranda Kerr takes to the stage just as graciously as she does behind the scenes whilst attending the Stella McCartney show. She showed us how to strut your stuff in a mini cut off denim skirt. She paired the destroyed denim bottom with an oversized tee, a black blazer, and booties. We love the retro shades too.

Rachel Bilson went out for lunch with a friend to Mustard Seed Cafe in Los Feliz, California. She was seen wearing some super hot ultra violet AG Farrah Skinny Crop Jeans. You don’t see a whole lot of fuchsia happening right now despite the rampant colored denim trend, so this is a nice surprise. You’ve got to be a bold girl to put your assets in this kind of hue. She kept the look summer-casual by pairing it with a simple James Perse Mini Rib Tank top and a few accessories (Ray-Ban original Wayfarer sunnies, Miu Miu hobo bag in lamb and ostrich leather, and Soludos Playa Stripe seersucker espadrilles. Perfecto.

Here at denim therapy we’re suckers for a great editorial, and the Vanity Fair May 2011 Italia issue featuring Sophie Holmes is no exception to the rule. Model Sophie Holmes, gallivants around the streets of Palermo in southern Italy in denim ensembles by the likes of D&G, Replay, Blumarine and Miu Miu. Holmes oozes femininity and sets the overall ambience for the glam editorial. Shot by photographer Signe Vilstrup, the feature is a unique collaboration of chic fashion and fun, that has an overall vintage feel to it. We love the denim jacket, paired with the printed summer dress, because it combines the two elements mentioned above. Holmes undeniably makes denim look sexy.

Rihanna was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, making a stop for a bite to eat although she was looking scrumptious in her Daisy Dukes. Usually she favors Levi’s, this time they’re J Brand. She teamed her look with a Miu Miu polka-dot silk crepe de chine blouse, a Ohne Titel graphic striped cardigan and a pair of Prada beige ankle strap sky high heels, showing off those legs that her personal trainer must be just as proud of. Rihanna topped off the rockin ensemble with a shock of red hair, believed to be a wig, complete with a denim headband.
