Famed photoblogger Tommy Ton just released some street style pics, snapped outside of the recent AW2011 menswear fashion shows in Florence, Milan and Paris. He has been doing double duty for Style.com (pictures below) and GQ. Life imitates art imitates life, when we see pops of vibrant color in details, footwear and accessories amongst the masses, before seeing more hot pinks, yellows and neon orange colors on the runway — a departure from what one might expect for the usual (and expected) dark and gloomier Autumn-Winter collections. The show before the show can be quite interesting in itself! It’s still winter in Europe, we last checked, but the ladies were out in their sheer tops and denim shorts, too. Why else but to show off all the architectural shoes! Captured in the following shots were how people chose to spotlight denim with bright footwear and upturned selvedge hems, or “hid” denim pieces in the layers and textures of their ensembles.
