We’ve established that Wrangler is exponentially rising as a “cool” premium denim brand—especially overseas—and their latest lookbook has some more evidence to this point. With a hint of attitude that reminds us of Diesel marketing (without the pro-stupid slogans and overt sexual liberation), models pose against stone greys and cement backdrops. Denim-on-denim combos are recurring, with mixed wash styles on both genders (we love one combo that pairs cuffed light wash jeans with a medium-dark wash workshirt and knit vest). Plaids in blue and red color ways, vintage-inspired sweaters, leather jackets, and furry hats are styled into the shoot effortlessly—soak up some of this FW’11 fashion inspiration! A bit more on the concept of this lookbook below…
“Mark your territory is the FW11 season theme: Wrangler urges its clientele to customize their own jeans. To give each pair a life of their own. Mark your territory extends Wrangler’s brand signature. We are animals. Like animals we are compelled to mark our space and our belongings, to leave our stamp. Tagging, tattooing, branding: these are primal animal impulses. In FW11, we challenge consumers to ‘Mark Their Territory’.”
