Kate Moss is nearing forty, but still has what it takes to keep us captivated (the sign of a true supermodel!). She’s in the new spring/summer 2012 Mango campaign, with smoky eyes, slick hair, and simple-yet-sublime style. While the only denim shown from the collection are a pair of blue jeans and pale denim shorts, we’re fans of the light, springtime styling. Because, um, pastel sweaters and airy white tees? Totally game. Especially when Ms. Moss is involved.

Timeless and classic beauty Constance Jablonski graces the pages of Spanish Harper’s Bazaar April 2011 looking ever-so gorgeous. She’s featured in a perfectly styled editorial wearing the latest in spring denim by Stella McCartney, Christian Dior, Mango and D&G. We are really loving everything from the denim apron and the boxy denim dress to the paper bag waist jeans. Nicky Hilton in Abercrombie & Fitch
Jean skirts are back in fashion this season. Update a typically bohemian or western look with a boyfriend jacket and ankle boots a la Nicky Hilton for a fresh, casual and edgy look.
Tools needed: Scissors, tape measure, utility knife, sewing machine
Step 1: Cut jeans to desired skirt length
Step 2: Rip open the inseam (inside the legs) with a seam ripper or utility knife
Step 3: Use excess fabric (from the legs that were cut off) to make a patch insert.
Step 4: Sew patch onto inseams in front and back, then trim the hem so it’s even. Wash, dry and wear!
Tip: Jean skirts are great for showing off legs, so keep the length well above the knees. Skirts that are too long can look bulky and dowdy.
