Australian fashion label Lover released their Autumn-Winter 2011 collection, revealing a fabulous line of sophisticated separates and outerwear that would make any girl look amazing in their jeans. With a couple of roomy wide leg pant silhouettes in this collection, we were delighted to find that one denim piece—a high waisted wide leg jean—thrown into the mix. With tailored French lace blouses and minimalistic over-sized sweaters to play with, you’re just one step away from claiming that fashion goddess title. At least, we hope your friends think so!

We’re loving the mix between tailored fit, runway silhouettes and Bohemian sentiments in this collection by Lover. Their high-waisted jean, pictured above, is a flattering fit for women who worry about muffin-tops and short legs. Right now, Lover is not available in the U.S., but you can mimic this look with a 7 For All Mankind Trouser jean (below, left), a boxy sweater by TEXTILE Elizabeth & James or a darker wash wide leg jean by Paige Denim.

You probably saw this coming, but a bevy of spring denim looks are popping up everywhere. Glory be, if more tastefully-done denim (not just chambray) dresses make it out to retailers in the coming months. I’ve already seen some lovely Acne/Lanvin 2010 reveals. Yummers! And, what makes this year different in the world of accessorizing your fave denim looks, is, the shoes aren’t getting any smaller. They may be phasing out large vehicles like The Hummer, but super-sized shoes aren’t going away anytime soon. Haven’t they injured enough girls on the runway yet?
My Pick: Acne/Lanvin 2010 Ruched Shoulder Dress.
