Blogger and fashionista Sietske L, shows off her love for simple denim and pastels, In a recent Lookbook entry that caught our eye. Sietske poses for the camera, in a soft canary yellow tank top by H&M and a off-white blazer paired with light washed denim shorts, both by the likes of Zara. We love the entire color scheme of the outfit—it really brightens up the day! The denim shorts give the outfit a casual feel while the blazer dresses it up a bit more. Sietske offsets the outfit with a chic arm cuff, neon nail polish, and simple oxfords. The lesson here? Sometimes less is more.

We found five real guys online at Lookbook: Peter Adrian, Adam Gallagher, Blake Jacobsen, Tim M and Denny Wenny, wearing Doctrine Jeans in their own way. These are five guys with different personal styles and body types. After all, shopping for jeans can be tricky. Do you often ask yourself, “Sure, those jeans look great on that model, but could I pull it off?” Check out the gallery and see if you can’t totally rock a pair.
Just launched last fall, Doctrine Jeans women and men’s denim is currently currently available at select upscale department stores including
Summer is the perfect time for sun kissed skin. Achieve that amazing glow by pairing cut offs with a bikini top and oversized shirt as a cover up. It’s a great, no hassle look for the beach or a causal lunch date. We personally love the high waisted retro Levi’s denim shorts, paired with the floral bikini top, because it transcends a sense of innocence and care free attitude, which summer is known for. The white oversized shirt is a great way to cover up without concealing or revealing too much. Top it off with a great pair of shades ,and tousled hair and you’re set for a day of fun in the sun.

Photographer and fashion muse Blake Jacobsen never ceases to impress us with his always stylish and denim infused looks. We love that Blake can pull off everything from rockin’ grungy ensembles to this dapper and casual-cool look. His cuffed slim-fit jeans in a dark wash are perfectly styled with a navy blue blazer and pattern-clashing vest and tie. We love that this—what could be considered–dressed up look exudes a young and fresh vibe. And its exactly because of those styling choices like the patter-clashing that it manages to stay of-the-moment. The pop of color the camel braided belt adds is right on, as well as the cool factor the slightly pulled back beanie gives the entire outfit. All in all, an ace look it our book!

If you’ve been with us for at least a minute you know that we absolutely love anything that screams 90s. And this outfit by one of our favorite fashion bloggers, Laura Allard-Fleishchl of Ponyhunter, has us screaming all the way back to freshman year of high school. Her front tie cropped denim shirt, high-waisted vintage floral skirt, and mid-thigh lace bike shorts combo is the epitome of a great modern take on a 90s look. Want to transition this outfit into evening? Just add a leather biker jacket and trade in the sandals for a pair of boots.
