Sarah Jessica Parker is often seen by paparazzi on her daily school runs with her kids, so as a good celebrity does, she makes an effort without trying to look too styled. One of our favorite covetables seen on her is the MiH Biker Jacket, an interpretation of a classic 1950s biker jacket. Do you love that jacket, too? A denim-sleeved biker jacket version is on a super sale right now, so check it out. Thinking about how you would style this moto jacket? We think some faded or pastel jeans would make great complements.

Blake Lively was spotted on the set of Gossip Girl in a pair of J Brand 901 Leggings in Blue Viper wash. It goes without saying that anything on the set of GG will be insanely stylish (yes, we’re still addicted, ridiculous story lines be damned), but this outfit gets extra points for working in three of our favorite things: sequins, leather, and denim. Try this look for a casual winter weekend. Check out a whole range of J Brand 901 leggings to find your perfect pair.

Leather is in this season and we’re not complaining! It looks great with denim, and always creates a very polished look–but be careful because too much leather can be dangerous! Leather is one thing you do not want to overdo, as you can easily end up looking like you’re part of your town’s local biker gang. A great way to have a more toned down version of the sleek look of leather on leather is by pairing it with coated denim, just like this fashion blogger from New Zealand does. The black leather jacket and black tee go perfectly with the black coated skinny jeans. They look so sharp together, without the overwhelming effect leather on leather can have, a la Sandra Dee from Grease. We mean, yes that look IS a classic, but some things are meant to stay on the big screen (or in your Halloween pictures).

We don’t know about you, but we wear denim short shorts year round. And though we can’t quite say that they’re the warmest thing to wear as we head into late fall, we can certainly guarantee that they’ll have you looking hot! We love this look by Jennifer Grace of Native Fox. Her pink denim ultra-short shorts look perfect paired with a killer rocker tee, black platforms booties, and a cool leather jacket. Too cold to wear this out for your taste? Add a layer or two! Stay warm by adding a pair of thick knee high socks and cozy things up by adding a hoodie underneath the jacket. Just because its cooler out doesn’t mean you can’t look hot and rockin’ this fall!

Similar to colored denim, coated denim can be a trend that you’re not sure how to work into your wardrobe, but don’t worry, it’s simple! This fashion blogger from Amsterdam looks fierce in her metallic silver coated jeans, leather jacket, and red lipstick. Her black bootie heels top the look off with a really badass, futuristic vibe, but if that’s not your style, you could easily skip the leather jacket and these jeans would still look great just with the white t-shirt. That’s the cool thing about coated denim–it looks great enough on its own that you don’t need anything extra to dress it up, and if you want do want to, it is more than up for the challenge!

One of the many reasons we love denim is that it isn’t bound by season. You can literally wear it any time of year. In our book that makes denim worth the buy every time! Check out some our favorite street style looks that will take you from summer to fall with no major wardrobe change necessary.

Once again we see how well leather and denim go together. Leather accented denim cutoff shorts matched with this amazing leopard biker jacket lets this girl take a walk on the wild side… right into fall.

Summer is right around the corner, and though it may still be too cold to pull off a bonafide summer look without freezing at night, it doesn’t mean we can’t plan ahead. This editorial is the embodiment of California summer style, from cropped t-shirts and t-shirt dresses stamped with vintage graphics to high-rise denim short shorts with frayed edges. The occasional leather jacket keeps things edgy, and sums up the inspiration you need for a killer summer look. Our personal favorite? A pair of denim overalls over a bathing suit top. Super cute. Now all we need is for summer to get here!
