Lana Del Rey was spotted out in London last week, wearing a pair of MiH “Breathless” blue jeans in Nep wash. We think this ankle fit, low rise jean was made for her. Lana’s outfit is very basic, but because the fit of her jeans and sweater are proportioned perfectly, she looks very well put together. What do you think? Do you think she should have glammed things up a bit more, or is she cute the way she is?

So don’t get us wrong… we’re fascinated by Lana Del Rey. Sultry voice, unique personal style… and she wears denim when she isn’t decked out in floor length evening gowns, crooning away. But lately she’s had a few outfit offenses we can’t ignore. While a recent performance saw a very cool pair of Urban Renewal studded denim shorts, she paired them with an extra-long badly proportioned fringe tee we wouldn’t even have worn in the ’90s. Then she hit the street wearing a chic pair of G-Star Midge Bell Ankle Jeans, but the trapeze top she wore was all wrong for the silhouette. And yes, both looks were sent off the deep end by her ever-growing bouffant hair and intense eyeliner.
How to fix these looks? We’d hack that trapeze number into a crop top and switch out her shoes for some fresh metallic flats, and the fringe top would be much cuter if it were a vest over a bandeau (or else, hack that fringe to thigh length).
None the less, Lana sets some great denim examples when it comes to brands and cuts. Grab a pair of Urban Renewal studded denim shorts or some G-Star Midge Bell Ankle Jeans if you like (at least that much of) what you see.

One of our guilty pleasures, Lana Del Rey, was seen leaving the Radio One Live Lounge in West London on April 11. She wore the G-Star 3301 Straight in Medium Aged with a sports jacket. We love that she goes from cocktail dresses to jeans so easily. We guess that’s why she calls herself “gangsta Nancy Sinatra”.

Lana Del Rey took a break from Video Games to rock out at a Guns N’ Roses Concert at the House of Blues Sunset Strip wearing Hudson Jeans Super Skinny Nico in Chelsea. She was spotted a second time pretty much in the same kind of look… We guess she found a favorite!

You guys know we’re huge suckers for Lana Del Rey, fake lips or not (yeah, they’re fake). This crooning princess is bringing new layers of interest to moody, wine-soaked cabaret style ballads, and she looks just as natural in Diesel jeans as she does in a floor length cocktail dress.

Confession: we’re obsessed with Lana Del Rey. Her crooning voice, her girly style, and her pouty lips had already won us over, but when we saw her making an appearance in Citizens of Humanity Mandy High Waist Retro Slim Jeans ($189), we were sold. She wore them on a news/talk show in France recently, with a trench coat and flats.
