Ashley Tisdale was out and about shopping at Planet Blue in Los Angeles in a cute pair of Wildfox’s Jane Fonda high waist acid wash shorts. She paired them with a cosy Free People blue knitted Sahara sweater that she threw over a floral tee, her favorite baby blue Balenciaga bag and reflective red framed sunglasses. The High School Musical star may well have been treating herself to a spot of retail therapy in celebration of her TV movie Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure airing on the Disney Channel this month. We love the look, though we’re still on the fence over these Joie Elvis Washed Suede booties. Looks like half the show was hacked off somewhere along the line. Either way, we’re getting some much needed warm weather fashion inspiration.

Sarah Michelle Geller and her daughter (mini Freddie Prinze Jr.) were out taking a stroll when they were snapped in a moment of mother-daughter style. Hot mama Sarah was wearing a Joie Ladonna striped sweater along with her J Brand 10′ Ankle Skinny Jeans. We like the ankle length when paired with ballerina flats. Although, the look can certainly work very well with heels. We also like that she accessorized very simply so that the overall tight jean style doesn’t draw too much attention. Nice job, SMG!

Vanessa Hudgens was snapped in this super-fun outfit on her way to LAX recently, in Levi’s 501 Cut off Shorts with exposed pocket lining (we love that). She paired her cut offs with a Blu Moon Studded Army Jacket, Love Heals necklace in dark brown leather, and Joie suede slouch boots in mushroom. She seems like she’s having a blast, and she’s dressed the part, with sassy knee-high stockings, accessories, and a big grin (the best accessory).

Now undersand the true meaning of business casual usually allotted for summer Fridays (even though we show up to work in jeans everyday, aren’t you jealous?). She is wearing a pair of Genetic Denim Shane Cigarette Jeans that are folded up to reveal some very cool stitching, Balenciaga Giant City Bag, Madewell Striped Cabin Crew Neck Sweater and Joie Leo Sandals. The wash of the jeans look as if they have been worn in to perfection and have the creases in all the right places. Plus she is just a cutie!

Remember Planet LuLu? I do. I went to my first sample sales at Planet LuLu in downtown L.A.’s Cooper Building eons ago. It was probably in 2000, and I still have that Wendy Hil suede leather jacket I snagged for $40 to remember it by. Ah, the sweet memories.
