Tender x The Hill-Side Team Up To Create Limited Edition Selvedge Jeans

Tender has teamed up with accessories mavens The Hill-Side (makers of our fave denim ties) to offer up a truly international pair of men’s jeans. Each one is made from Japanese selvedge denim, and was cut, sewn, and stitched in Leicester, England, with details inspired by 20th century American workwear, like the placement of the label in the right back pocket. These super-versatile Type 129-TH-S slim-straight leg jeans are so limited edition, there’s only ten available. You can snag your pair at Hickoree’s for $365.

Time To Examine Levi’s Made & Crafted Tack Men’s Slim Leg Jeans

Park & Bond points out some crucial details in the Levi’s Made & Crafted Tack Slim Leg Jeans that make them contemporary and fresh. A modern mesh of two 1960s era pairs of Levi’s jeans (the 606 from 1966, and the 505 from 1967), the denim descendent features details like the square-shaped wasit, 12-oz Japanese selvedge denim fabrication, four different color threads in the stitching, a blue Levi’s tab (not red, as usual), and more. Click through for a very up close look at these classic men’s denim jeans.

What To Wear With Super-Distressed Men’s Selvedge Denim #projectshow

While chatting with Japanese brand KURO Denim, a brand that specializes in exceptionally worn and ragged jeans (read: incredibly comfortable with built-in history), they discussed their customer’s most successful styling technique. When you buy a pair of jeans that’s nearly $500 and look like they’ve been through the war, a hoodie and sneakers don’t do them justice. The brand’s representatives suggest wearing their well-worn jeans with a crisp, button-down shirt and a beautifully tailored wool jacket (KURO has begun to introduce these options in the sportswear component of their line to drive the point home). Opposites attract, and a pair of jeans like these need to be balanced with clean, sharp coordinates.

Jeans That Glow In The Dark (And When Not To Wear Them)

Unless you have a serious manhunt-playing agenda this summer or you’re still going to warehouse raves in upstate New York, you may not be able to think of too many reasons why owning glow-in-the-dark jeans is necessary. But necessary or not, they have arrived (and they’re pretty damn cool).  They’re by Naked & Famous, and you can score them at Barney’s for $240 this July. Apparently after five washes your glow will start to fade (so use them wisely).

We’ve come up with a list of things you shouldn’t do while wearing glow-in-the-dark jeans:

1. Attempt to run from the police at night.

2. Attempt to run from your angry girlfriend at night.

3. Attempt to surprise someone at a surprise party, in the dark.

4. Attempt to casually skip in front of the bathroom line in a dark bar.

5. Be taken seriously in any situation where the lights are out.

That said, we encourage you to give this innovative new denim technology a try.
