J.Crew‘s newest additions to the women’s denim line include a selvedge toothpick jean and stretch matchstick jean: two styles designed for a flattering fit and ease of wear. They are both available in normal and tall sizes, so you model-height ladies are in luck! The selvedge toothpick material woven on original 100-year-old narrow looms from one of Japan’s oldest mills, while the stretch matchstick is engineered to maintain its shape despite wearing and washing.

In stores and online today: the GOLDSIGN For J.Crew womens jeans collaboration debuts with a collection of jeans and denim skirts, inspired by the women of 1950s Hollywood. “Focusing on feminine fits, the washes vary in authentic vintages, pure indigos, and soft pastels.” This is the first collaboration between Adriano Goldschmied and J.Crew. Three distinct fits make up the collaboration: “Jeane” – a feminine, sexy, high-waist American jean; “Jenny” – a slim leg, classic, 5-pocket, high-waist jean with cuff; and “Holly” – a timeless 1950s high-waist pencil skirt; ranging in price from $198 to $288.

What, wear denim with your fancy schmancy Burberry trench coat? Yup. The luxury fashion brand has featured a mini-me version in the form of a very adorable Burberry Boy’s trenchcoat via their own Tumblr account, and we think it hits all the right posh-but-relaxed notes for adults as well. We just love the pops of classic color against a neutral base. Want to get the look? We found a couple of fashion finds for your consideration.
GET THE LOOK…
Starting with a trench coat as your base, try a bright colored shirt and colored jeans to offset against the khaki. Fun statement jewelry or a cross body bag completes the haute commuter look.
