As you guys know, we’ve been running around the Coterie and Capsule trade shows early this week, and we’ve seen a lot of innovative new takes on marketing jeans. One of our favorites is the Hudson Jeans x isko collaboration (isko is a Turkish denim mill), which resulted in a denim knit material so easy to move in that they went as far as enlisting ballerinas to prance around in the jeans. Indeed, they dance uninhibited by the material, which is awesome to behold. But our favorite part was the actual marketing material, which comes in computer hardware plastic wrapping and includes a flipbook of a dancer performing in the jeans, a flash drive featuring a promotional video, and a swatch of the fabric. This is one piece of promo we’ll be keeping around the office.
