While out shopping at American Rag (probably picking up some denim updates for her ever revolving jean closet), Nicole Richie wore a pair of Paige Premium Denim shorts along with a tucked in Winter Kate “Tilapia” silk blouse. She paired her bottoms with a few other key pieces from her namesake collections–House of Harlow 1960 cat-eye “Linsey” sunglasses in black, a hat and a Delvaux bag completed the outfit. For her footwear she chose a pair of Givenchy brown woven leather wedges. We really love this dress up/dress down boho look!

A night out on the town calls for some fun and flirty looks. Nicole Richie was seen at the Viper Room in Jet by John Eshaya Black Glazed Jean (we can’t believe they aren’t leather!) and an amazing beaded tunic top. To personalize her all black ensemble Mrs. Madden added the gorgeous self-designed Rey bag in olive velvet ( which we’re adding to our “want/need” list), House of Harlow 1960 jewelry and “Arissa” wedge booties. Rock on!

A double play date for the children of the rich and famous took place at Griffith Park. Can you guess which buds were out for the afternoon of fun?
For her casual ensemble Nicole Richie slipped into a pair of Paige Premium Denim jeans and a Winter Kate “Laurel” top and finished things up with a lightweight cardigan, flip flops and House of Harlow “Jordana” sunglasses. Easy, breezy, and mess free (hopefully) although it seems Ellen Pompeo is having a little bit of trouble with her hands full!

This friday morning we decided to take a trip back down memory lane to Nylon Magazine‘s August 2007 issue featuring former TV personality and fashion designer Nicole Richie. In the feature, Richie states “I don’t have a clue, why I’m famous either,” making light of her current and sometimes over stated stardom. Since then, Richie has become a full-time mom and a fashion icon, (House of Harlow ring a bell?) Proving to the masses why she is well deserving of the title she has received. In the denim-esque editoria,l Richie rocks her favorite pair of denim skinnies with a Wild Things T-shirt. A laid back and casual look that we love, Richie has definitely given us some denim inspiration to start our weekends off just right.
