Emma Roberts paired her Frankie B. carpenter-style flared jeans with a playful two-toned striped top on a recent excursion, where some saturated technicolor photos were snapped of her doing her thing. She added oversized vintage white framed sunglasses and what look to be Jeffrey Campbell’s Litas to the mix. Love this look? You can shop online to snag some Frankie B.’s of your own.

Have we ever seen Brian Austin Green without Megan Fox? Nope. Have we ever seen him in any other denim brand besides Raven Denim—particularly the Sid in Charcoal wash ($205)? Nope. Okay, maybe we have, but we think you get the idea. He’s a Raven denim-head. His wife, on other hand, chose a pair of Frankie B. Wide Leg jeans ($165). The denim-loving couple both styled their jeans with plaid button-down workshirts and kept it casual in this case.

By now it’s clear that summer isn’t the only time for pop-color denim to make an appearance. Luckily, you’ve got us. We’re in love with the Frankie B Rocky Zip Leg skinny jeans in ruby—a cotton/spandex blend with stretch and a cute ankle zipper detail. In February, Frankie B. Jeans will mark its 12th year anniversary, and we thought it would be fitting to talk to Daniella Clarke, the founder who started out DIYing her own jeans as a teenager by ripping out the waistbands. As a pioneer in the denim industry, we really wanted to find out what she’s up to now (besides being sought to resurrect the 1970s denim brand Dittos Jeans) and how much of a denim freak she is. We also found out she is a bit obsessed with Kate Moss and lots of male musicians wear Frankie B. jeans.
Daniella Clarke, Founder of Frankie B. Jeans
DT: So Daniella, do you own a lot of jeans?
DC: I think I have about 300 pairs of jeans but it’s kinda [sic] silly because I seem to rotate the same 5 pairs on a daily basis.
DT: What is the longest you have worn one pair?
DC: Yikes! This is an embarrassing question, but I’m going to be honest. Sometimes I wear a jean about 4-6 times before I wash them! I just love the way my jeans fit and don’t want to wash the fit out of them once I wear them in. I also don’t wash them often if I’m trying to preserve the dark indigo wash.
DT: Are you working with any new textiles or technology?
DC: I really love this new denim were working with called Black Gold. It’s a coated denim; often coated denim can be stiff but this is so soft and just pretty with a bit of a shimmer.
DT: What do you think of the 1970s vibe hitting this year?
DC: I love the 1970s trend… I’m a huge fan of the flared and wide leg – so sexy! My personal favorite for sure! I also really love those terracotta colors from that time period and hoping to incorporate that into the line in ways of colored denim.
DT: What advice can you give when shopping Frankie B. jeans?
DC: We are not as low as people say and our fit is amazing. If you’re looking to accentuate a small derri?re, try one of our Rosie Bow butt skinny’s. We run pretty true to size.

Frankie B. jeans have been worn by numerous celebrities and has a cult following among denim aficionados. In consequence, counterfeits have been found online at such sites as eBay. Shop Frankie B.’s own Web site to get the real deal.

Welcome to denim sale central! A new discount member’s only site has surfaced, thanks to apparel retailer Revolve Clothing. The prices are so good, that Cheap Mondays go for $26, even cheaper than you could imagine. That’s probably why they named it REWIND, because the online stock seems to be pre-inflation and pre-millennium prices. What’s the difference between REWIND and other member’s only sites? The site has featured limited time sales on certain jeans, but there’s tons of other jeans, clothes and shoes on its site that you can also purchase. It feels more like a rock-bottom discount overflow from Revolve and Forward (Revolve’s other spinoff site). Look for Acne Jeans, Citizens of Humanity, Diesel, Frankie B, J Brand, Juicy Couture, MiH, Twenty8Twelve and lots more. Apparel, accessories, handbags, and shoes, they’ve got that, too! Plenty of fashion for guys as well. You really do get a sense that you are saving 80% off on some items, like their motto dictates. And, with a $5 flat rate shipping for U.S. orders, it’s totally a good deal. Don’t pause; do the REWIND!
