It’s probably our chilliest spring in years here in NYC, which raises the question of whether to dress for mid-day sun and heat, or morning/evening cool breezes and shade. A happy medium is a simple look pairing spring floral print jeans with a knit top and a black blazer, allowing you to remove layers and add them again as needed. Le Blog de Betty has always been a great source of layering inspiration, and this floral denim jeans look is now exception. Get this functional and stylish spring look below.

Jessica Alba got into the seasonal spirit recently when she took her family to a pumpkin patch in West Hollywood. She made the excursion in a pair of beautiful floral printed jeans: the Black Orchid Black Jewel Skinnies in Malaysian Mist. She paired them with a simple white top and some lace-up boots.

An exciting new development in floral printed jeans, Earnest Sewn is collaborating with designer Peter Som to bring you a new spectrum of dreamy pastel jeans in a variety of floral motifs. The jeans, entitled Floral Fusion, walked the runway during NYFW spring 2013, which means two things: A) you’ll have to wait for next spring. B) you have something to look forward to all winter! The styles include cropped, wide leg, and skinny.
See them up-close below.
More on the line, via Denim Blog:
The line blossomed from Peter Som’s poppy runway prints and incorporated Earnest Sewn’s renowned denim techniques such as pigment coating and laser-dye processes. Earnest Sewn’s Creative Director, Ben Talley Smith said, “the collaboration has pushed our team to work with silhouettes outside of the traditional five pocket realm that we know and love, so that in itself has been exciting for us.”
Designer, Peter Som noted that he’s “thrilled to partner with The Earnest Sewn Co. The fusion of my runway prints with their expertise in denim has resulted in a very exciting collaboration. As someone who wears Earnest Sewn jeans regularly, the collaboration is a natural fit.”
