Diane Kruger was snapped in the sun at Coachella (specifically the H&M Loves Music Coachella Kick Off Event) wearing a pair of black & white printed denim shorts by H&M. Her shirt and boots were by H&M as well. You’d think she’s the new face of the brand, but in fact, the beautiful Ms. Kruger is the new face of Chanel. A printed tee + printed shorts + don’t-care-hair? Festival perfection.

The artisanal fades and beautiful hues of M2F Denim have gotten an upgrade this spring. They now offer jean shorts, skinny jeans, and denim vests in star printed colored denim. Muted reds, pale blues and sherbet pastels make up this relaxed palette—perfect for spring and summer wear with your favorite tee and a whole lot of arm candy. Obviously, a good pick for the July 4th BBQ too! See the full lookbook below.

Alessandra Ambrosio was spotted at Coachella this past weekend wearing a Siwy Lana Raw Edge Sleeveless Shirt in the Forever and Ever wash. She matched the item with a paisley print skirt, plenty of arm candy, and high rise boots. We love the crocheted bikini top peeking out from behind the denim for a hint of bohemian charm.

Get your Siwy Lana Raw Edge Sleeveless Shirt in the Forever and Ever wash asap and nail this festival-ready look for summer.

Festival season is upon us! That means it’s time to stuff your leather fringe bag full of camping-essentials, pile on the arm candy, and pick out a pair of denim cut-off shorts to wear as your summer 2013 uniform. Festival style means carefree and edgy, and Guess has a capsule collection that takes care of those elements nicely. Aptly named The Festival Collection, we had a sneak peek at this collection last November. Rocker tees, free-spirited accessories, and lots of destroyed denim in the mix. Shop our favorite picks below.

As revved up as we are for the holidays and impending cold-weather festivities, the Guess spring 2013 preview made us long for sunny spring days again. Their candy-hued pastel colored denim and sportswear came with an emphasis on mint green and peach. A capsule collection specific to festival fashion was displayed in a separate room on astroturf. The icing on the cake? Carnival candy and macaroons circulated the room, making summer seem just within reach.

Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester showed off her festival style at Rio de Janeiro’s Feira de Artesanato de Ipanema (“the hippie fair”) and picked up a few treasures in a pair of 7 For All Mankind denim shorts—specifically, the vintage cut-off short in medium destroyed Morea. Love her top too! And nice to see a celeb attending a festival other than Coachella, no? ;}

The only thing more exciting than going to a huge music festival? Browsing hundreds of festival style pics after the show wraps up! Okay, we digress. There’s something about the open air, pool parties, live music, and a bunch of friends dressed up in festival fan fare that you just can’t beat. But if you didn’t go to Coachella 2012, this is the next best thing. Check out some of the denim street style we loved from around the web.

Yesterday DT got styled and hair-braided as part of the Madewell Denim Roadtrip! Out of three options, Renee opted for a crown braid, dubbed “the rail straight,” and was then styled by the Madewell team. Renee’s wearing the boyjean in riding spur wash ($125). Sidenote: We had to share, these awesome green suede pumps are on sale now ($150) . The brand is taking an expertly branded Airstream (notice: the grey striped awning matched the grey striped clutch in Renee’s hands) across the country to promote their new denim line.
Find out when they’re coming to your city!

Matias Denim is anything short of California cool in its latest lookbook. The brand keeps things totally LA for spring with poolside fun, American flag bandannas (and shoes), and a wide selection of casual denim separates perfect for the Cali heat! We love the mix of distressed stone wash jeans in blues and greys with laid back 70s influences like oversized stripes, wide-brimmed hats, and fringe. Definitely perfect for weekend getaways, festivals, and soaking up the West Coast heat. Don’t worry everyone, spring will be here before you know it!
