Leah Faye posted up her tips on Eat Sleep Denim on how to shop for denim when “you must be this tall to ride” signs were never a problem for you. Read on to see how this tall gal finds the denim she loves…
Know your inseam
This sounds obvious, but it’s easy to assume that all long inseam jeans are long enough for you, and that’s not always the case. My ideal inseam is 36″–yours may be 34″. Those two inches could be the difference between looking incredibly chic or looking like you just hit a random growth spurt.
Spring for premium denim
Most premium denim labels make jeans in a variety of lengths, including often hard to come by longer inseams. Two of my favorite labels that consistently roll out ultra-long jeans are Joe’s and MiH. Premium denim can be pricey, but jeans that fit well, look great and will last for ages are a worthwhile investment.
