We’re crushing hard on Moscow style blogger and personal shopper Alexandra Osina (of Styled By Alexandra) ‘s fall denim look right now. She mixes denim shorts, jackets, and skirts with unexpected pieces and to create quirky, flirty autumn ensembles that get awesome marks across the board. Check out her recent outfits below and get a quick lesson in her unique approach to denim styling.
.
The look: Sweater with medium-above-the-knee denim skirt
Where to wear it: Cute look for the office and a meeting over coffee with a client.
Tip: Hem lengths are key in pulling this off. The skirt should fall above the knees (but no shorter) and the sweater should fall just below the waistline (but not shorter). The fullness of the skirt keeps things casual and chic.
.
The Look: Denim sequined shorts with denim workshirt & tights
Where to wear it: A great look for shopping and hanging out with friends.
Tip: Switch the playful coat for a sharp blazer for a night-friendly look.
.
The Look: Denim workshirt over flirty lace dress and denim leggings
Where to wear it: Perfect for date night!
Tip: When the weather gets colder, mix in a faux-fur stole and metallic jewelry.

We love this editorial out of the pages of Indie Magazine featuring Leebo Freeman dressed in some of the latest denim wears of the fall season. Styled by Ingo Nahrwold, newness is added to the still strong Americana trend by mixing in classic vintage varsity graphic tees a jerseys—a definite must have for anybody who wants to stay on trend. Long three-quarter blazers matched with double denim gives the otherwise casual-cool look a slightly more dapper appeal. Take a hint from the editorial below!

Michael said…
“I would wear them as my staple work jean. Classic, stylish and formal enough to wear at even the most formal of tech companies!”

Seems like while we were sleeping, Wrangler got cool. The denim brand’s Australian men’s and women’s lookbooks for fall are just as enticing as any Diesel Island campaign (err, if you’re into that—if not, insert your favorite well-marketed denim brand here), both in terms of product and art direction. It seems the European Wrangler marketing is endlessly more chic and sexy than its American counterpart. These images say it all.
