Each season they edge a bit more towards crisply tailored sportswear and Americana-inspired looks that modern and sleek. Designers Victor and Sarah Lytvinenko understand that their customer wants a combination of classic concepts and cutting edge style, which can be seen in each ensemble below. Our favorite looks included bleached, overdyed stone grey women’s jeans, a two-tone wax canvas jacket, washed wax coated jeans, and a blue tweed deconstructed blazer.

We dropped in the American Eagle & Aerie fall 2013 preview yesterday for a pastry and some AM fashion-gazing. The ever-expanding line has amp’d up selection in both the men’s and women’s departments. We were especially delighted to see a carefully played bohemian influence in the styling of chic denim separates, flirty scarves, and gorgeous jewelry. Jean.Machine unveiled an exciting collaboration with Missoni during the men’s AW13 runway show last week in Milan. Jean.Machine’s signature styles were re-worked to feature iconic Missoni knit patterns (an amazing alternative to men’s colored denim for those who want to side-step obvious trends this year) on details such as pockets. Another favorite, the JM 4 jacket, was redesigned to include a detachable Missoni wool waistcoat on the inside. All styles will be available in early June from the Jean Machine website, Missoni stores worldwide, and other select retail locations.
