What does a successful Los Angeles lawyer really need, other than a briefcase for her work and her knowledge of the law? Denim! Though she certainly can’t wear denim to work, according to Sasha Lankarani, her “off work” attire is just as critical.
What makes your denim collection special to you?
I feel like I have at least one of each really hot brand and it’s fun to not be the girl that’s always wearing the exact same pair of jeans, even though depending on the week or month, sometimes I am that girl.
Why do you think it’s important for people to have more than one reliable denim piece?
Different denim pieces go with different occasions. You can’t rock the skinny jeans every time.
What kind of denim lines do you own/have you purchased in the past? What are some of your favorites?
*J Brand, Seven, Rock & Republic, Hudson and sometimes random brands from little boutiques in New York that I couldn’t even name for you. And I recently bought two pairs from Express, believe it or not, that are actually pretty cute.
What’s your favorite pair of jeans for a casual day to relax? For a night out with friends?
Right now the top three in rotation are skinny jeans from Express, and a pair of Levi’s I bought at Anthropologie, and my J Brand. Those are the best.
